First blog post ever!

This is my first post on my very own blog!  I'm finally getting some breathing room from all the activity at the beginning of school and thought I'd start a blog like everyone else (well, everyone whose blogs I've been visiting, anyway).  So here it is! Mrs. Speech's room is to document all those ideas and great finds I have that I just have to share with someone.  Lately, I've really been impacted by how many of those unintelligible kids have auditory discrimination issues.  It seems that every time I get one of those kids that are mixing up random sounds, I delve further and find that they aren't discriminating the sounds correctly when they hear them.  So of course they aren't saying them correctly!
